Team Lanie Allen is raising money for 22nd Annual Step Out for Hospice to Benefit VNA Hospice & Palliative Care in memory of Lanie Allen

Step Out for Hospice has provided vital support for end-of-life care for 22 years. Donations enable VNA Hospice & Palliative Care to serve patients in need, offer bereavement support, train staff and volunteers, purchase medical equipment and technology, and more.

Step Out for Hospice kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Irish American Club of Woburn, 147 Main St. (next to Walgreens). Check-in/registration begins at 10 a.m., 1-Mile Kids' Fun Run at 11:30 a.m., 3-Mile Health Walk at noon, and 5-Mile Road Race at 12:30 p.m. Join us after the race for live music, refreshments, and more.


VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, established in 1979, provides physical, emotional, social, practical, and spiritual support to individuals and loved ones facing a life-limiting illness. Our compassionate staff and volunteers help those facing a terminal illness live as fully as possible, and brings hope and comfort to patients and their loved ones.
 

Robin, Danielle and I have been bringing our friends & family together each year to honor the memory of our amazing mother Elaine “Lanie” Allen to support this great organization that helped our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. Even though our mother lost her courageous battle to metastic breast cancer, Hospice enabled her to be in the comfort of our family home and made the last days we had with her truly better with their support. The positive experience we had with this organization leaves us forever grateful and motivated to ensure that their support is available for other families in need.

We ask again that you join us Sunday, October 6th for a day full of fun, coming together for a great cause and to celebrate the memory of a woman that loved life, family & friends!
